This Privacy Policy explains what information Canada MedLaser (“CML”) collects, why we collect it, and how you can manage it.
What we collect
- Email address — when you start checkout (used for order confirmations and, if you consent, marketing reminders).
- Name and phone — to confirm your appointment and contact you with treatment reminders.
- Payment information — handled by Stripe; CML never sees or stores your full card number.
- Order history — what you bought, when, and at which clinic.
- Marketing consent record — exact wording shown to you, timestamp, and IP hash (for CASL audit trail).
How we use it
- To fulfill your order and remind you of your appointment.
- To send cart-abandonment reminders (if you’ve opted in).
- To send seasonal promotions (if you’ve opted in).
- To comply with tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers necessary to deliver our service: Stripe (payments), Kinsta (hosting), GoHighLevel (email/SMS marketing), and the booking-management software used by the clinic that fulfills your treatment.
How to manage your data
To request a copy, correction, or deletion of your data, email privacy@canadamedlaser.ca. To unsubscribe from marketing email, click the unsubscribe link in any email — your address is added to the suppression list immediately.
Quebec residents (Law 25)
If you reside in Quebec, you have additional rights under Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (“Law 25”). Our consent checkbox is unchecked by default for QC visitors. To exercise your rights, contact our Privacy Officer at the email above.
